Prostifas injection containing Cloprostenol sodium is a synthetic analogue of prostaglandin, structurally related to PGF2α. It is a potent luteolytic agent that causes morphological and functional regression of the corpus luteum, resulting in the generation of a new follicular wave, followed by a return to estrus and normal ovulation.
